SPEED is owned by two nationally-renowned professionals who strive to provide outstanding service to their clients.
David Constant, CSCS
Mr. Constant obtained an honors degree in kinesiology and health science from York University in Toronto, Canada in 1997, majoring in exercise physiology.
He has served as a strength coach and personal fitness trainer since 1992, developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for athletes at all levels ranging from youth to professional. Mr. Constant has performed more than 25,000 personal fitness and performance training sessions in his impressive career. A highly sought after lecturer, he is known for his unwavering dedication to optimal exercise prescription and program development. An active member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Mr. Constant also works as an instructor and exercise physiologist for the department of fire technology at Santa Ana College, as well as a guest lecturer for Chapman University.
Jack H. Bauerle, MS, ATC, CSCS
Mr. Bauerle is an Orange County native and graduated from Chapman University with a bachelor's degree in 1987 and a master's degree in sports medicine in 1989. He served as Head Athletic Trainer and Head Strength Coach at Chapman from 1989 to 1993 and taught courses in the movement and exercise science department.
In 1998 Mr. Bauerle joined the academic faculty in Chapman's department of kinesiology and was appointed as Athletic Training Program Director in 1999. He currently serves an adjunct professor with the university.
In addition to his sports medicine expertise, Mr. Bauerle is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and has coached professional, collegiate and high school athletes in performance enhancement. An engaging educator, he regularly presents at sports medicine and fitness symposia. Mr. Bauerle also has more than twenty years of progressive health care leadership specializing in fostering productive partnerships across various academic, athletic and philanthropic settings.
